There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed... Sub Tub Activities

.
.
I've been working on activities to align with There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed... Books.  I decided writing sub plans SUCKS!  ...Especially when you are sick with Ebola Virus or worse.  With this series of books, I can have plans for various times of the year and scaffold the activities throughout each book.  The lessons will ensure that common core standards are met with fun activities while the classroom teacher is out for the day.

My first set of plans aligns with the story, There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Books.  The activities are for Reading, Writing, and Math.  Lessons are written and activities are created for a sub to manage.

You don't have to wait for a sub.  You'll love the activities too!  I hope to be back soon with lessons for the books...Swallowed Leaves and Swallowed Pie!!!!

Until Then,

  3. What the worlds needs is more sub tub plans! There is little that is as nice as when a poor teacher is puking their guts out but doesn't have to get in the car, drive to school with a trash can on their lap and try to figure out how the heck they are going to plan an entire day.

  4. Heather, sooo true! I figured I'd get a jump start on creating them for the {There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed...) series and develop lessons that progress with the standards with each theme/season/holiday book. If they go unused, we have a wonderful author study at the end when were as equally stressed out as a sick day. LOL!
